Delete your Dawnbook account

You can delete your online account yourself, inside the app, at any time.

1. Open Dawnbook and tap the settings (cog) icon.
2. Choose Encrypted cloud backup.
3. Choose Delete my account and enter your account password.
4. Confirm. Everything is deleted straight away.

What is deleted

Your encrypted backup (records and files), your sign-in, every invitation you made and any contributions waiting to be reviewed.

What is not deleted

The diary stored on your phone. It stays until you delete the app. Use "Export Dawnbook" first if you want a copy.

Can't use the app?

If you can no longer open the app, write to support@dawnbook.app from the email address on your account and we will delete it for you.
